Kids choose their partners purely by instinct—picking whoever is pleasing to the eye or fun to play with. There are no heavy moral labels or deep deliberations involved. Getting skipped over is certainly awkward, and since kids haven't learned to mask their feelings, their emotions are written all over their faces. However, this is just normal, minor social friction. It is a far cry from any "psychological trauma" and hardly warrants demanding a ban on the game. Just treat the video as light entertainment. Once the school bell rings, these little rascals will go right back to fighting over snacks, completely forgetting this ever happened. The grand emotional dramas fabricated online are nothing more than adults' own obsessions.
