@czy194 Pro tip from an Indian person:
This is very much the same for all countries, we all have our own brands of racism for all races
Though, nothing specific for koreans and japanese people, we only group them with chinese when being racists and that does the job
@czy194 I don't think all Chinese do that, nor all S.Koreans nor all Japanese nor all Indians.
Just some do.
Its best to remember and acknowledge the middle that treat all humans with respect.
Wishing all in the east of India well.
@czy194 Chinese dont give White foreigners any discrimination, they welcome and love white foreigners. I can attest, Chinese love white foreigners. The other foreigners may be victim and having a hard time.
Gonna take this opportunity to ask, do you guys actually get offended by “Chinaman” it’s just such a silly idea for a slur, I get the idea of an Asian who isn’t Chinese being conflated for being Chinese just because he is Asian, but I feel like it would be if someone called me “Americaman” I’d be like “yeah”
The real tragedy here isn’t the racism; it’s the lack of quality control. Chinese netizens work the 996 grind to craft deep, lore-accurate insults for every Asian country, and Americans just recycle a lazy slur from 1882. I completely understand their anger. Being targeted by such low-effort, outsourced Western racism is deeply offensive to anyone who respects the hustle. I'd be mad too if my bully didn't even try.😂
